About DerangedTaco, a Quick Bio

Welcome to DerangedTaco.com, home of the fabulous and amazing DerangedTaco himself. I know - You're probably wondering what the hell a DerangedTaco is, and where in Mexico I'm from. But contrary to common belief, I'm as American as a triple-lard double deep fried McDeath burger with extra cheese. DerangedTaco is just my extremely stylish net alias. As you can hopefully tell, this is my website.
I am Brent Peters - gamer, video editor, photographer, athlete, internet gangster, and a generally awesome person - all in one. Online I'm known as DerangedTaco, and this is my website. It was originally created as a place for my friends and I to talk outside of social networking sites and the like, but since then it has grown into a place for just about anyone to hang out. Basically, this is a personal website turned online community. And after all, let's face it... I'm far too awesome to not have a website. So take a look around; there's plenty to keep you occupied.
Back in 2005 when I was but a young lad of 13, I scrounged up the money to buy this domain. At first, all I had here was a mediocre Invision Power Board forum, but over the years, DerangedTaco.com has seen a lot of changes. It's definitely taken a lot of work, but the site is looking pretty good as it is now.

While this is no place for a full resume, I will go as far as to say that I am a recipient of the Xerox Award for Innovation and Information Technology, captain of the Tam HS bike team, and online creative editor / site admin of the Tam News.

Briefly, my interests include Mountain Biking, Running, PC Gaming, Video Editing, Photography, Graphic Design, Web Development, and Being Awesome. (Ripped straight from my FB profile lulz.)

Music is a pretty big part of my life - anyone who has survived riding in my car with German metal blaring can attest to this. I won't bother posting my favorite artists and bands here, but to generalize, I like the genres of rock and electronica. I have ~8,500 songs in my iTunes library.
